March 6th Newsletter

March 6, 2019

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The purpose of this letter is to give you some updates and reminders.

1. If you have changed your phone number, please call the main office to give us that information. We need to have updated information in case there is an emergency.

2. Remember school starts at 7:40. Children who are tardy for school lose valuable instructional
time and causes undesirable disruption in the classroom. If your child is a car rider try to get in the line to drop off before 7:20.  The car rider line becomes long between 7:20 and 7:40.  If your child is tardy, an adult must accompany the child in and sign the child into school.

3. "Books, bears, and blankets" will be this year's theme for Family Literacy Night. Come dressed in your PJs for great stories ready by your teachers! The Book Bus will be here giving away free books. Free e-books will also be available in the media center. Time: March 14 starting at 6:30.
4. The following are some dates of interest. Please mark them on your calendar.

Mar. 14   Title I Literacy Night - watch for more information
Mar. 15   Early Release Day
Mar. 20   Spring Pictures and class pictures
Mar. 21   Report Cards issued to students
